License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April and October Exams

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Senior year of EAC Eng curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree; no degree + 8 yrs exp; other combinations
Waiver granted for FE:	Possible: with 15 yrs exp or education + exp

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	No, but it is required to take the PE exam
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 6 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng degree + 6 yrs exp; non-TAC Eng Tech degree + 8 yrs exp; no degree + 12 yrs exp; other combinations

License renewal:	Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	Voluntary
